 In a significant development, Shruti Nagvanshi, the dynamic Founder and Managing Trustee of JMN (Jan Mitra Nyas) and PVCHR (People's Vigilance Committee on Human Rights), has been appointed as a member of the 9-member Internal Complaints Committee for Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith University, Varanasi. Administered under the state legislature of the government of Uttar Pradesh, the university attained University status in 1974 as a Deemed to be University and State University status in 2009.
