"Shruti Nagvanshi's Article on Kitchen Gardening"

"Shruti Nagvanshi authored an article on kitchen gardening, initiated by JanMitra Nyas and PVCHR, aimed at providing livelihood support to families grappling with hunger and malnutrition. This initiative received support from CRY, a prominent child rights organization in India, along with assistance from Ms. Parul Sharma and 200 generous donors from Sweden. The High Commission of New Zealand also lent its support for replication and impact studies.

During the challenging times of COVID-19, the International Rehabilitation Council of Torture Victims (IRCT) provided vital support to torture victims, contributing to their livelihoods with remarkable success. Monitoring and evaluation data, aligned with WHO standards for human well-being, have shown exceptionally positive results.

This article was published in the esteemed monthly magazine 'Lucknow Junction' in October 2023. The article not only emphasized income generation but also resilience-building, contributing to the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the grassroots level, particularly in the context of child rights."
