Victim recieved Rs 7 Lakh as a Compensation by advocacy of PVCHR

These proceedings shall be read in continuation of the earlier proceedings of the Commission dated 4.9.2014. On 4.9.2014 the Commission observed and ordered:- "Before proceeding further, let copy of the report be sent to the complainant for comments which should be received in the Commission within six weeks. Addl. DCP, IGI Airport, New Delhi be asked to inform the Commission as to whether next of kin of the deceased Ramroop Sak s/o Nawab Singh was given any compensation under Workman Compensation Act. He should also inform the Commission as to whether Government of NCT of Delhi has granted any ex-gratia to the next of kin of the deceased. Response be submitted within six weeks." Pursuant to the direction Commission, Addl. DCP, Vigilance, has forwarded the report of DCP, IGI Airport, New Delhi in which it is mentioned that in case FIR No. 95/2012 u/s 288/304 A IPC pertaining to P.S. IGI Airport only compensation amount of Rs. 7,15,122/- was given to the dependents of deceased Ram Roop Sak S/o Nabab by Employees Compensation Commissioner vide cheque No. 451309. Copy of cheque has been enclosed. Since proof of payment has been received, further intervention of the Commission is not called for. The case is closed.
