PVCHR is sharing the summary of submission of UPR report, please find the
enclosure and link . In the whole report PVCHR mentioned three times in
narration and four times in end note.
- JS20 stated that patriarchy remained the root cause of discrimination against women. Peoples’ Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR) stated that human rights initiatives in India lacked a gender perspective.
- PVCHR stated that discriminatory attitudes and lack of sensitization on the dynamics of crimes involving sexual and domestic violence left victims without critical police aid or redress to which they were entitled.
- PVCHR stated that the culture of impunity was the biggest threat to the rule of law.
