Support to the survivor to improve his well-being and to again reconnect him

PVCHR in collaboration with SICHREM, a member organization of NATT organized training of trainer workshop on testimonial therapy from 5 – 15 June, 2012 at Indian Social Institute, Bangalore. In the workshop 12 participants were trained and 15 survivors were psychologically supported through testimonial therapy.

In the second week of workshop Mr. Bheema Sena, a survivor faced firing by the forest official and he now is disabled. He was financially supported with Rs. 10,000/- with support from RCT-PVCHR project. He will use the money to start weaving fishing net. Mr. Bheema Sena belongs to tribal community known as Jenu Kuruba (Honey hunter)[i] and now these tribes are in crises.[ii]
